County Park Permits
Sullivan County extends an invitation to its residents and
visitors to utilize its county parks for group outings.
Parks are available on a first come - first serve basis from
Mothers Day weekend through Columbus Day.
A park permit is required for all groups consisting of 25
people or more who plan on using a county park. There is no
charge for groups to use a park. To obtain a permit, call
845.794.3000, extension 3066 to confirm your desired date,
then complete and submit the on-line park permit
application. Permits are usually processed within 72 hours.
County Pavilion Permits
Sullivan County extends an invitation to its residents and
visitors to rent group picnic pavilions located at five of
its County Parks. Pavilions are available on a first come -
first serve basis.
Groups consisting of 25 to 200 people may reserve a covered
picnic pavilion at Lake Superior State Park (2 pavilions
available) , Livingston Manor Covered Bridge Park and
Each group picnic pavilion is furnished with 10 to 12 picnic
tables and a group cooking grill. Restrooms or porta-johns
are located near all pavilions.
To reserve a pavilion at any county park call 845.794.3000,
extension 3066 to confirm an available date, then complete
and submit the on-line pavilion permit application and mail
in the proper fee as listed below. Permits are usually
processed in 72 hours.
