Hours of Operation: The campground opens in mid-May and remains open through the Fall foliage season, closing on Columbus Day. The registration booth is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Directions: From Route 17 West (quickway) to Exit 96 at Livingston Manor; make a right onto White Roe Lake Road to Old Route 17, make first left onto County Road 81 & 82, 6 miles to DeBruce; turn left at signs on Mongaup Road, 3 miles to campsite.
From Route 17 East to Exit 96, turn right at bottom of ramp, turn left at stop sign, turn left on DeBruce Road/County Rte. 81. Refer to above directions from here.
Amenities: 163 tent and trailer sites, picnic area with tables and grills, picnic pavilion rental, pay phones, flush toilets, hot showers, trailer dump station, recycling center, handicapped accessibility, sand beach, boat launch. Environmental and recreational programs from July to September
Nature Recreation Program: From the end of June to Labor Day an organized recreation activity program is offered daily. This includes nature hikes, crafts, games and live entertainment. An activity listing, the "Wilderness Times", is posted and includes complete information on daily events. * Please take note that at facilities that offer the Nature Recreation Program, there may be days when Environmental Educators are unavailable, and no programs will be offered. In addition the length of this program may vary by campground due to staffing issues. For additional information, please contact the Recreation Staff.
Boating: No motor boats allowed. Rowboats and canoes allowed. Rowboat and canoe rentals available.
Fishing: Fish in area include: american eel, brook trout, chain pickerel, creek chub, golden shiner, pumpkinseed, smallmouth bass, tiger muskellunge, yellow sucker, yellow bullhead, and yellow perch.
Hiking: Extensive hiking trails.
Day Use Facilities: A day-use area, pavilion rental, and swimming beach are available. * Please take note that at facilities that offer swimming beaches, there are days which lifeguards are unavailable. For the safety of our customers, these beaches will not be open and swimming will be prohibited.
Area Attractions: The Catskill Fish Hatchery is 3 miles distant on Mongaup Road. Shopping centers, restaurants, theaters, and lounges are within 15 miles in Liberty, Livingston Manor and vicinity. There are a number of golf courses and horseback riding facilities. Antique shops are scattered throughout the vicinity. An amusement park and ski area are located at Holiday Mountain. Monticello Raceway is within easy driving distance. Historic attractions include the D&H Canal Locks, Fort Delaware, Minisink Battleground Memorial Park, Stone Arch Bridge Historic Park and the Sullivan County Historical Museum. The area contains five covered bridges and historic Roebling Suspension Bridge spans the Delaware at Minisink Ford. The Upper Delaware National Scenic and Recreational River, administered by the National Park Service, borders Sullivan County on the southwest. The National Park Service Visitors Center is located at Narrowsburg.
